It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Castillo of Taft, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Gonzales and Amanda Gonzales; her husband Manuel M. Castillo; and her brothers, Ricardo, George, Eloy and Israel Gonzales.
She is survived by: her children, Angel Castillo (Elvira), Sylvia Castillo (Frank), Rosie Castaneda (Sonny), Leticia G. Castillo, Bernadette Castillo (Fred) and Yvonne Castillo (Joe); and her siblings, Pauline Martinez, Adan Gonzales, Javier Gonzales, Reymundo Gonzales and Adrian Gonzales. She is also survived by 15 grandkids, 31 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren.
