It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florinda Sauceda of Taft, Texas, born in Sinton, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Elisa Saldana (Naranjo); her grandmother Tomasa Naranjo; and her brother-in-law Esteban Sauceda. She is survived by: her husband Rufino Riojas Sauceda; her children, Rufino Sauceda, Angie Naranjo (Raul Trevino), Lupita Moreno (Ray) and Maria Sauceda (Michael Buitron) of Taft, Texas; her father Rufino Saldana, Sr. of Victoria, Texas; and her siblings, Rufino Saldana, Jr. of Victoria, Texas, Michael Naranjo, Jesse Alvarado of Taft, Texas, Patty Perez (Danny), Tina Saldana and Edna Saldivar of Taft, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
