She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Torres and Severa Torres; her son Jesse Gonzales; and her siblings, Antonio, Calistro, Lazaro, Vicente, Enrique, Eliseo Torres, Rosita Torres, Pauline Rodriguez, Manuela Garcia and Herlinda Flores.
She is survived by: her son Reyes Torres Garcia, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Maria Elena; her granddaughters, Debbie Cucchiara (Lee) of Reyes Garcia, III and Christina Weisser (Matt); her great grandchildren, Reyes IV, Miranda Garcia, Anthony, Claudia Cucchiara, Roy Chapa, Olivia and Noah Weisser; and her niece Irma Olivares. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Bertha Gonzales to the Immaculate Conception Church of Taft, for the benefit of the Catholic Daughters.
