She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella and Mesecke; her husband L. J. "Cotton" Horak; her son Calvin Glenn Horak; her sisters, Elnora, Nolee Koebelen (O. A.) and Vallie Urbanek (Albert); and her sister-in-law Ola Robison (Jack).
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Elster (Rodney); her daughter-in-law Glenda Chambless (Sammy); her grandchildren, Wendy Todd (Cody), Chip Horak (Shae), Dale Horak (Amy) and Steven Horak (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Craig Todd (Lauren), Mason Todd, Sydney Horak, Payton Horak, Paige Horak and Mollie Horak; her great great grandchild Tatum Todd; and her niece Christine Koebelen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
