We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2024, at the age of 86, Tim Kelty of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Kelty and Odene Kelty (Nolen); his son Mike Kelty; and his great grandchild Jace Glenn. He is survived by: his wife Nita Goldsmith; his children, Karol Ann DeLong (Chris), Thomas Kelty (Debbie), Greg Martin (Allison), Brad Martin (Kristen) and Leah Conner (Tod); and his grandchildren, Zac Kelty, Makenzie Glenn (Jared), Marissa Kelty, Chaney Lynd (Sam), Drew DeLong, Mariah Kelty, Makenna Kelty, Miley Kelty, Sloane Martin (Tanner), Spencer Clarac (Lee), Skyler Irby (Dalton), Emily Martin (Mickie), Mallory Isham (Blake), Abbey Martin, Sadie Conner, Kelty Conner, Lucy Conner and Mac Conner.

“In loving memory of Tim Kelty, I have known Tim for many years. We have shared conversations together in our Sunday School Bible Study Class and many times the discussions ended up being about our singing background. Tim loved quartet music! His sense of humor was enjoyable as he talked about singing with the “Men of Texas”. He wanted to form a new quartet and I would sing bass. He wanted to name the quartet “The OLD Men of Texas”. Now, he can sing with “The Heavenly Men of Texas”! Sing on Tim”
