She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilda R. James and William E. James; and her brother Samuel James. She is survived by: her husband Gene McKelroy; her daughter Rebecca Shoaff (Marc); her grandchildren, Aiden and Zoey; her sister Tawn (Georgia) of Macon; and her sister-in-law Janie (Georgia) of Blairsville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is creating a Sara James S.T.E.A.M. Scholorship Fund, Donations may be made at Alliance Bank in Sulphur Springs, Tx.
