She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Terrell and Marcella Terrell (Smith); her husband Ned Tanton (Ned); her son Troy Tanton; and her son-in-law Gene Barrett.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gant (Ernest), Carolyn Barrett and Paul Tanton (Anita). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
