He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Edward Flanagan and Minnie Magdelene Hill Flanagan; and his siblings, Tommy Jo Flanagan, Jimmy Wayne Flanagan, Frank Devol Flanagan, Rickey Lynn Flanagan, Larry Flanagan, Elizabeth Pearl Greer, Kathy Louise Jerkins and Linda Diana Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Ann Greer; his children, James Paul Flanagan (Alicia) and Deana Hale (Cori); his grandchildren, Nicholas Tamsma, Julia Tamsma and Rebecca Tamsma; his brother Chuck George Flanagan (Linda); his grandchildren, Haley Blair (Jeremiah), Brittney Janae, Alijah Rose Flanagan, Abbigail Hale and Kolson Hale; and his great grandchildren, Tatum Orozco and Ivan Orozco.
