He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie J. McCool and Iona McCool (Rosinbaum); his brothers, Ronnie McCool and Jeand; and his brother-in-law Jerry Russell.
He is survived by: his son Byron Ferguson; his siblings, Douglas McCool (Larie), Mark McCool, Phyllis McCool Russell and Judy Pilcher (Jerry); his sister-in-law Carleen Ferguson; his grandson Nick Ferguson (K'Lynn); and his great grandchild Aksel Ferguson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
