He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Earnest and Lela May Hammond (Rosinbaum); his wife Wynell; his son Danny Charles Hammond; and his brothers, Charles Hammond, Harace Hammond and Raymond Hammond.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Sherry Hammond; his granddaughters, Jennifer Kelton and Dani Goodgine; and his great grandchildren, Michael Mercer, Beau Goodgine, Joy Goodgine and Hope Goodgine.
