He was predeceased by: his parents, Altie Ray and Iva Geneva Gresham; his wife Gloria Ann Miller; and his siblings, Alfred Ray, Carey Ray, Adele Ray and Kathy Ray.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Ray, Kenny Ray and Gwen Ray; his stepsons, Jack Schwen (Lois) of Sulphur Springs, TX, Jerry Schwen, Jr. (Belinda) of Manvel, TX and Jeff Schwen (Donna) of Benton, AR; and his daughter-in-law Vicki Hofert of Mineola, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Peerless Baptist Church in his memory.
