It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Laughery (Stinnett, Texas), born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Christian (Buck) and Wynema Skeith Christian; and her sister Maryln Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Truman Carl Laughery; her daughters, Linda Lee of Littlefield and Christi Durden (Marcus) of Kaufman, Texas; her sister Becky Swafford (Richard) of Midland, Michigan; her nieces and nephews, Wynella Christy (Paul) of Amarillo, Laura Swafford (Douglas Bowman) of Houston, Texas, Jay Shaw (Wynne) of Dallas and Christopher Swafford (Mandi) of Midland, Michigan; and her grandchildren, James Fields, Cathy Poer, Aaron Dodson, Lance Dodson, Tyler Dodson, Rachel Durden and Daniel Durden. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and numerous cousins and other extended family.
