With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rudene Preston of Stamford, Texas, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Shelton and Elizabeth Shelton; her husbands, Elmer Blackwell and W. C. Preston; her great grandchild Jaxon Humphrey; and her siblings, Nina Allen, Lucille Bates, Alton Shelton, Odell Sheldon, Lowell Shelton, Willie D. Shelton and Otis Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria Earles of Stamford, TX; her granddaughters, Pam Walker (Junior) of Stamford, TX and Kathy Sue Earles of Abilene, TX; and her great grandchildren, Justin Humphrey, Dustin Humphrey, Don Glass, Cambria Humphrey, Natalie Glass and Jayton Humphrey. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
