He was predeceased by: his parents, William Denver Mitchel and Neva Mitchel (Sawyer); and his son Michael Mitchel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mitchel; his children, David Mitchel, Daniel Mitchel, Randal Mitchel, Ann Meneses, Laura Michelle Swanlund of Stamford, TX and Lorrie Ann Hammons; and his brother William Glyn Mitchel of Wichita Falls, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
