He is survived by: his mother Thelma Johnson of Stamford; his daughters, Dr. Katrina Chance of Hamlet, Rose Stevenson of Arlington, Anissa Hatfield of Anson and Devon Mitchell (Jarvis) of Lewisville; and his siblings, Marilyn Griffin, Vernon Jones Sr., Vivian Bolden, Sandra Cook-Sanders, Karen McGee, Darrell Cook, Richard Johnson Jr., Joy Jenkins, Kevin Johnson, Linda Hobbs, Kevin Reed, Bobby Reed Jr. Rodrick Reed and Ricky Reed Sr.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
