He was predeceased by: his parents, E. P. "Charlie" and Ethel Hill; his wife Joyce Green; his siblings, Nelda Johnson, Bonnie Tabor, Thelma Dalton and Richard Green; and his son Eddie Ford. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
