She was predeceased by: her mother Aline Berry; her husband Henry Burkman; her son Glenn Burkman; and her sister Shirley Strawn. She is survived by: her son Hank Burkman (Susan Cox); her daughter-in-law Annette Burkman; her daughter Belinda Oman (John Bill); her grandchildren, Jennifer Kelley (Tom), Jessica Detten (Dennis), Judith Grotegut (Christopher), Johnna Page (Sutton), Ingrid Tusa (Jacob), Taylor Burkman and Casey Martinez (Nick); her siblings, Margaret McDowell and Cherry Berry; and her sister-in-law Belva Yeager. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

During the COVID-19 quarantine she would listen to sermons for both churches each Sunday.
