With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddie Jones of Stamford, Texas, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Richardson Jones and Davis Jones; and his brother-in-law Jerry Jeffcoat. He is survived by: his wife DeDe Jones; his children, Jim Ed Jones of Haskell, TX, Stan Terrell (Sheilah) of Paint Creek, TX, Steve Terrell (Karla) of Menard, TX and Jenny Winter (Mike) of Gorman, TX.; his grandchildren, Jake Terrell (April), Shelli Hall (Lance), Tracer Jones (Emily Lowke), Wyatt Terrell, Lucas Winter and Davis Winter; his great grandchildren, Lawren, Easton, Reisel Hall, Colt and Macy Terrell; and his siblings, Davene Jeffcoat, Diane Harwell (Harold) and Ronnie Jones (Anne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations for Eddie be gifted to First Baptist Church, 214 N. Swenson St., Stamford, TX 79553.
