He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Starr and Melba Starr (Boland); his brothers, James Ray and Travis Starr; and his daughter Pam Starr Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Starr; his daughters, Sharon Pierce (Pat) and Valerie Lozano (Alex); his grandchildren, Justin Cox (Megan), Preston Cox (Sarah), Amber Engelke (Mark), Courtney Walton (Trey), Amanda Moreno (Rene), Matthew Sandoval and Kolby Griffin; his great grandchildren, Kenley, Ryan Cox, Micah Moreno, Peyton, Kendal Walton, Hayden, Atlee and Haze Engelke; and his siblings, Norris Starr of Cisco and Thelma Sellers of Cisco. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
