He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Haynes and Hattie Rae Ferguson Haynes; and his grandson Jacob Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Judy Haynes of Stamford; his sons, Danny Haynes (Stephanie) of Richmond and Bryan Haynes of Dallas; his sister Hollis Rae Boyd of Austin; and his grandchildren, Patrick Tuley of Houston, Ashely Tuley of Oklahoma City, OK and Madison Haynes of Dallas.
