She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Mae (Weaver) and John William Jones; her siblings, Earl Jones of Austin Jones, L. D, Wencel Jones, Maryetta Wilson (Jones) and Ina Mae Brown (Jones); her husband Wayne A. Sims; her granddaughter Melanie Austin (Israel); and her great grandchild Olivia Austin.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chad Israel, Jamie Burow (Peter Burow), Dr. Heather Wheeler (Ryan Wheeler), Dr. Heath Sims, Shaughn Albertson and Brian Austin (Kelly Austin); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Josh and Rhys.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Darlene Sims to Ballinger Home Health and Hospice.
