He is survived by: his daughter Trenishia; his son-in-law Michael Payne of Abilene; his son James Applin of Abilene; his grandsons, Devare Payne of Abilene, Dristan Payne of Abilene and Mehkyri Payne of Abilene; his siblings, Lynette Harris of Stamford, Dallena Willis (Anthony) of Dickerson, Brenda Moore (Ernest) of Sherman, Sybil Levi of Dallas, Martha Wilson of Abilene, Clarence Whitfield Sr. (Mary) of Abilene, Darren Willis (Cynthia) of Odessa, George Applin Jr. of Abilene, Otis Cooper and Classy Sims; his nieces, Annesia Cooper, Tamara Cooper, Deebra Cooper, Triolla Cooper and Lytoya Harris; and his close friend Debbie Franklin. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins.
