He was predeceased by: his father William Edwin McCollum Sr.; and his siblings, James McCollum and Virginia Ryan Roy. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Robert H. McCollum (Denice) of Alachua and Chad McCollum (Michele) of Spring Texas; and his siblings, Robert L. McCollum of Hemphill and Mary Lou Matthews of Mattoon, Illinois.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
