He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Bernard Martin and Julia Rose McBride. He is survived by: his wife Celena Martin; his children, Sonya Martin Harper (Patrick), Jacqulyn Leatherwood (Brandon), Stephen-Paul Martin and Gwendlyn Herbert (Micheal); and also, Paul Martin (Cindy), Stephen Martin (Jennifer), James Martin (Dory) and Janice Hankins (Charlie).
