He is survived by: his children, Blanca Isabel Orozco Cortez (John Montealvo), Roger D Cortez, Jr. and Richard Lee Cortez; his grandchildren, Ave Maria Hernandez, Alexzander Manuel Hernandez, Holly Rene Montealvo, Pete Sebastian Gallardo and Bella Isabel Montealvo; his great grandchildren, Memphis William Cortez Guzman, Zane Max Cortez Delaney and Colt McCoy Cortez Delaney; his brother Raymundo Cortez; and his friends, Roy Velasquez and Gumaro Sarreon.
