He was predeceased by: his parents, Poe Mullins and Pauline Mullins; and his brother Benny. He is survived by: his wife Lois Mullins (Marcum); his daughters, Melissa Dawn Lockwood (Travis), Beth Runyon (Rob), Michele Malenky (Greg) and Melinda Byerly (Matt); and his sisters, Treva McCracken (Delmar) and Amelia Farrell (Bill). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and spouses; 4 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
