He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Shehane; his brother Elmer Shehane Jr.; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Sally Brumley; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Brumley II.
He is survived by: his significant other Keaka Shehane; his children, Michael Todd Shehane Jr., Shelby Shehane of Magnolia, TX, Malia LaSoya of Spring, TX and Alena LaSoya of Willis, TX; his grandson Caleb LaSoya of Spring, TX; and his mother Jeans Williams of Montgomery, TX. He is also survived by other family members and countless friends.
Mike was a truck driver who drove the big rigs working for Kroger, pulling long hours during the pandemic shut down getting groceries and supplies out to the store, and spending his share of driving through floods and getting stranded at the Kroger yard during hurricanes, and the joy of helping people was his motivation and great reward during such difficult times.
