She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bessie Hairgrove and Richard Hairgrove; her husband Chirpy Pye; her children, Charlene Matlock, Sylvia Bates (Roger), Sidney Pye III (Jerry), Potty Powers (Muncie), Terry Lee Pye (LaDonna) and Joe Pye (Charlotte); her grandchildren, Sidney Pye IV, Jody Sydow, Sheila Kunz, Muncie Powers Jr., Burt Lee Powers, Cassie Cole, Katie Pye, Jamie Bates and Terry Lee Pye Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Bradley James Bates, Cody Powers, Cole Powers, Casey Powers, Everitt Pye, Paisley Lucas, Emily Powers, Cooper Powers, Meredith Kunz, Carolyn Kunz, Conrad Cole and Jules Cole. She was also cherished by 11 children.
