He is survived by: his wife Joyce Poole Dixon; his children, Timiki Swint (Sammie), Marion L. Dixon, Jr. (Rose) and William R. Dixon; and his siblings, Floridean Powell, Otis Dixon (Willie Pearl) and William Dixon (Belinda). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
