He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Van Straten, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Robb Van Straten; his wife Brenda Van Straten; his children, Joseph (Courtney), Aaron (Shelly), Lindsay Chilton (Josh) and Vanessa; and his brother Michael (Leslie). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
