She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ferguson and Miriam Ferguson; her husband George Thomas Simmons (Tommy); her brother Robert Ferguson; and her great grandchild Stanley Lee Christian.

She is survived by: her children, Stacy Denise Christian, Shawn Katherine Simmons and George Thomas Simmons Jr. (Tommy); her grandchildren, Colton Ray Smith, Thomas Blayne Christian, Coby Reese Smith, Baylee Lavert Christian, Jaycee Ann Marie Simmons, Reece Elizabeth Simmons and George Thomas Simmons III (Trace); her siblings, Carl (Doris Ferguson), John (Mary Ferguson) and Beryl (Doug Lindsey); and her sister-in-law Pam Ferguson.
