She was predeceased by: her husband Roland "Max" Walker; her parents, Ottis Thornton and Gertrude Barrett Thornton; and her siblings, EJ Thornton, Billy Ray Thornton, Johnnie Thornton Watson, Regina Thornton, Donald Thornton, Jack Thornton and Sharon Thornton Rowland.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Walker of Spring, TX, Linda Driggers (Michael) of Sherwood, AR and John Walker (Ramona) of Oxnard, CA.; and her grandchildren, Karen Walker, LaShaunda Walker Franks (Jeremy), Michael Hepp, Matthew Hepp (Kirsten), Yvonne Vasquez, Monica Menendez, Christine Menendez and Davida Menendez. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
