She was predeceased by: her father Robert Kurth Weems; her children, Starla Lachelle Bennett and Troy Clifton Bennett; her mother Emma Hill Weems; and her siblings, Raymond, Gerald, Edward Weems, Nettie Pairett and Merle Meyers.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Clifton Bennett; her son Jerry Dwayne Bennett (Michele); her grandson Cameron Kyle Bennett (Christina); her great grandchild Cameron Jerry Bennett; her grandson Ryan Mitchell Bennett; her daughter-in-law Lisa Bennett; her granddaughter Megan Bennett (Ashton Moss); her great grandchild Athena; her grandson Brandon Bennett (Alexa); her great grandchild Briggs; and her siblings, Robert Lee Weems (Jean), Pauline Giacona and Linda Baimbridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
