He was predeceased by: his parents, Khodidas Patel and Sitaben Patel; and his siblings, Purshottambhai Patel, Baldevbhai Patel and Dahiben Kantilal Patel.
He is survived by: his wife Kanta Patel; his sister Kantaben Babulal Patel; his daughters, Pratixa Filinto (Jonathan) of Norman, Tina Patel of Southlake, Caroline Braich (Jas) of Southlake and Rohini McCardell (Chris) of Margate City; his grandchildren, Priya Moore (Jake) of Norman, Paige Swayze (Cole) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Dillon Braich and Khodi McCardell; his stepgrandchildren, Bethany McCardell and Brandon McCardell; and his great grandchild Beckham Swayze. He is also survived by numerous family members, and countless numbers of friends.
