He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Kuzmishin (Kitty); his parents, John Kuzmishin and Helen Kuzmishin; and his siblings, Michael Fendya, John Fendya, Joseph Kuzmishin, Ann Runtagh, Mary Schultz, Sue Pluskota and Helen Malutich.
He is survived by: his friend Bill Hylan; his children, Karen Crown (Bill Hylan), Lisa Humes (Richard) and John (Janet Harrison); his grandchildren, Richard Humes, Peter Crown, Patrick Humes (Ashley), William Crown, Dr. Alexandra Nagy (Dwight), Dr. Gwendolyn Kuzmishin, Catherine Kuzmishin, Rachel Kuzmishin and Samuel Kuzmishin; and his great grandchild Briar Kay Humes.
