He was predeceased by: his spouse Ollie Pearl of October; and his siblings, Billy, ONeil, Ls McClain, Wade Garrett, Estelle Houston, Gladys Wells, Thelma Vine and Jessie Faye Asberry.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Ann Ruffin; his grandsons, Tyrone Johnson and Keith Allen McClain II; his children, Terri Van Winkle, Sharon Roque (James), Larry Johns (Denise) and Keith McClain (Cynthia); and his siblings, Easter Smith, Bessie Perkins, Kenneth McClain, Terry McClain and Eddie McClain. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
