He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hattie Walsworth Peevy and Henry Jackson Peevy; his wife Joyce Peevy; his children, Donna Williams (Dalton) of Gillsburg, Mississippi, Karen Cook (Jim) of Lexington, Tennessee, Tena Bonnette (Doug) of Silsbee, Gena Huddleston (Mark) of Winnie and Greg Walker (Wanda) of Silsbee; his grandchildren, Dalton III, Daniel, Debra, David, Shane, Kara, Heather, Andi, Kay Ellen, Mandy, Jennifer, Emily, Ben, Kris, Brandon and Sabrina; and his brothers-in-law, James Dean, Dwight Dean (Fredia) and Larry Dean (Waneta). He was also cherished by forty-one great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

When y'all would come to Colorado, verlin would always call me. we had such nice long conversations on the phone about growing up with the Peevy family in Jonesboro. Although bittersweet, I like to think he's up in heaven with all the family with healthy bodies and praise and worshiping our Lord. Looking forward to seeing them all again. Shelby was my father and verlins first cousin. I'm sure they will all have things to talk about. Hugs Lib”
