He was predeceased by: his parents, Jody Dixon and Bessie Dixon; and his siblings, Charles Ray Dixon, Joe Franklin, Alton Dixon and Delois Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Dixon; and his siblings, Mary Joe Carey, Baby Joe Dixon, Anita Carey and Tommie Earl White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
