It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Simmons of Silsbee, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linda Simmons and Kenneth Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Paula Simmons; his children, Kenny (Cheryl) of Lincoln, Texas, David Simmons (Andre Walker) of Atascadero, California, Bobby Simmons (Tammy) of Silsbee, Texas and Jennifer Simmons Damron of Fort Worth, Texas; his sisters, Sharon Herron (Dan) of Silsbee and Sheila Eveland (Tom) of Silsbee; his aunt Billie; his uncle Tommy Hancock; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Simmons, Elise Simmons, Amanda Simmons McKee, Morgan O'Dell Coats, Michael Simmons, Garrett Damron and Noah Damron.
