He is survived by: his wife Betty Moon Derryberry; his sons, Donald Derryberry (Janie) of Alice and Richard Derryberry (Paula) of Denver, Colorado; and his stepchildren, Tammie Moon Andrews (Tim) of Evadale and Joseph T. Moon (Dawn) of San Augustine. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
