With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Lee Woody of Sherman, Texas, born in Greenwood, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woody and Minnie Lewis Woody; and his siblings, Robert Lassiter, James Carol Woody, Gerald Woody, Sylvia Nixon and Eva Lou Foote.

He is survived by: his spouse Gelene Strang; and his children, Michael (Vicki), Sandra, Phillip and Christopher (Jennifer). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grand- children, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Caring Ministry of First United Methodist, 401 N. Elm, Sherman, TX, 75090.
