He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Moore; his parent-in-law Rheba Little; his son John; and his sister Norma Rumage. He is survived by: his son Bryan; his niece Roxanna Maddox (Bob) of Jacksboro; his nephew Randall Rumage (Marie Yamamoto) of Los Angeles; and his great-nephews, Miles Maddox of Jacksboro and McCall Maddox of Midland.
