With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elisa J. Gumban (Schertz, Texas), who passed away on April 25, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest L. Gumban; her parents, Filomena Javier and Moises G. Javier; her siblings, Manuel Javier, Rosa Javier Recto, Nestor Javier, Edgardo Javier, Arsenia Javier Santos, Gerardo Javier and Luis Javier; her sister-in-law Rosario Javier; her nephews, Moises C. Javier and Jun Recto; and her granddaughter Lindsey Gumban.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Brown (Donald), Eric Gumban (Mona), Edwin Gumban (Joni) and Ernest Gumban Jr. (Laura); her grandchildren, Jaclyn Powell (Adam), Eric Gumban Jr., Leah Brown, Eliza Gumban, Samuel Gumban, Amanda Gumban, Andrew Koch, Amy Ponciano, Mallory Jones, Ricardo Damiani and Maia Gumban; her great grandchildren, Henry Powell and Benjamin Powell; her brother-in-law Rodolfo Recto; her nieces and nephews, Nerissa Lazaro (Paul), Rochelle Ramirez (Glenn), Rowena Recto, Edith Santos, Tito Santos, Joji Santos and Ronald Recto; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nikki Lazaro, Maris Romero, Chini Santiago, Jorel Lazaro, Jomari Santos, Paolo Ramirez and Macky Ramirez.
