He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Mason Whitman and Ruth Kay Whitman (Smith); his former wife Tamara Almajean Sharer; his wife Tammy Whitman of Sanger; his children, Christina Allen, Latisha Pittman, Amber Sharer of Whitesboro, Cassandra Sharer of Pilot Point and Steven Sharer of Weston; and his sister Stormie Collins of Sanger. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren.
