She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lex and Helen Irene Hodges; and her sons, Tommy Pope of Athens and Randy Pope of Athens. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Garrett (Trisha), David Garrett (Jolie), Floyd Garrett (AJ), Paul Garrett (Dawn), Joe Bob Garrett (Pat), Becky Moser (Ross), Pat Garrett and Sheila Young (Ron). She is also survived by 10 children together, she was a devoted mother and always put her family, Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital a charity Peggy was passionate about supporting.
