He was predeceased by: his father Travis Wayne Smith; his daughter Misty Dawn Smith; and his sister Lisa Mills. He is survived by: his mother Lavon Walker Martin of Balzora; his children, Lacy Smith Regnold of Slidell, Kourtnee Smith of Decatur, Marvin Smith, Jr. of Slidell and Bert Smith of Slidell; and his siblings, Cindy Hughes of Balzora, Raymond Smith of Abbott and Wesley Smith of Sanger. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
