She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McCollum and Florence McCollum; her husband Virgil Ward; her grandparents, Thomas Jefferson and Sarah Jane Flowers; and her brothers, Thomas and Jack McCollum.
She is survived by: her children, V. Wayne Ward of Keller and Jackie Ward; her grandsons, Jake Ward of Pittsburg, Wes Ward (Sarah) of Dallas and Will Ward of Keller; and her great grandchildren, Myles and Wyatt Ward.
