We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2019, at the age of 77, Laurel Ann Gideon (Sanger, Texas), born in Bowie, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Eleanor Smith (Crawford) and James Gordon Smith; and her brothers, Jon Michael Smith and James Patrick Smith. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Gideon; her children, Lorna Bridges (Gideon), Donald "Wes" Gideon (Gideon) and DeAnna Taylor (Gideon); and also, Denton, Anthony, Brandi, Katie, John, James, CheyAnne, Alexa, Madison, Logan, Bryson, Aiden, Carter and Lane.

In honor of this and lieu of flowers, her family asks that you make donations to the Sanger Education Foundation (sent to P.O. Box 429, Sanger, Texas 76266, in memory of Laurel Gideon).
