It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Villanueva of Sanger, Texas, born in San Juan, Texas, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Villanueva and Maria Villanueva (Sanchez); and his siblings, Concepción Ovalle, Justino Villanueva, Julian Villanueva, Carlos Villanueva and Viviana Tapia.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Villanueva; his son Juan Alberto "John" Villanueva (Beverly) of Gainesville, Texas.; his grandchildren, Cassie Meraz, Braulio, Jeremy Villanueva, Mireya Villanueva, Klarissa Villanueva, Alyssa Benavides, Austin Benavides and Elizabeth Stoltzfus; his great grandchildren, Jax, Eva Meraz, Adeline Villanueva, Hendrix, Arlo Dickey, Joziah and Evelynn Ledbetter; and his siblings, Marcelino Villanueva of Sanger, Amelia Puente of Dallas, Aristeo Villanueva of Corpus Christi, Maria Reyes of Dallas, Pilar Juarez of Sanger, Ysidra De La Rosa of Denton and Delmira Rodriguez of Grand Prairie.
