He was predeceased by: his parents, Imogene Abigail (Bottoms) and John William "Dub" Bowery II; and his wife Virginia Lee Odom. He is survived by: his children, Rona Alexander of Sanger, Rochelle Fuller of Sanger, Jarel Bowery of Gladewater and Mike Bowery of Denison; and also, Randy Miller, John Alexander, Ben Fuller, Chris Bowery, Dalton Bowery and Garrett Bowery. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
